how it works
- tap how the day went — sleep, energy, what happened. under thirty seconds, and every question has a skip. “dunno” is a real answer.
- add a note if you want. type it, dictate it, or don’t — blank is fine.
- pawprint assembles a proper journal entry from what you tapped and the words you used. your words, exactly as you said them.
what pawprint never does
- no streaks to break. missed days stay quiet — never red, never “failed”.
- no AI. nothing is generated, rephrased, or summarised. every word in your journal is yours — which also means it holds up anywhere a journal has to be genuinely your own work.
- no wellness theatre. no gratitude prompts, no breathing exercises, no “journey”. it’s a logbook, not a lecture.
- never asks “how do you feel?” — it asks about sleep, energy, and the body instead, and lets feelings arrive later. you can add to any day whenever the words turn up.
- the companion — a small hand-drawn dog or cat — is always pleased to see you. it can’t get sad, hungry, or disappointed. it just celebrates when you log.
private by default
no account, no email, no sign-up screen. your entries live on your phone and in your own locked-down rows on a server in Sydney that only your device can read. dictation happens entirely on the phone — audio never leaves it. no ads, no trackers, no third-party anything.
